Compare Delftia Genomes

Select two Delftia genome assemblies and compare their reported features.

Select genomes

Filter each genome list independently by species, strain, accession, assembly name, or assembly level, then choose two different assemblies from NCBI Datasets. Search is case-insensitive; multiple words narrow the results. Clear a filter to see all assemblies again. Your selected genome stays available even when it does not match its filter, so filtering never changes your comparison. The comparison updates when either selection changes. Assembly versions are listed separately; records are not necessarily unique strains.

Interactive selection requires JavaScript. The published comparison below is available without it.

These are database-reported assembly statistics, not a sequence alignment, average nucleotide identity (ANI) calculation, or standardized reannotation. Missing values are shown as “Not reported.” Differences in assembly quality and annotation methods can affect comparisons.

Published example: MTQ3 and HA60

The table summarizes features reported in the genome announcements for strains MTQ3 and HA60. Both are D. tsuruhatensis, not representatives of every strain in the species.

Feature MTQ3 HA60
Genome status Draft genome Complete genome; circular chromosome
Genome length 6.27 Mb 6,922,195 bp (about 6.92 Mb)
G+C content 66.79% 66.45%
Isolation context Tobacco rhizosphere Commercial nano-hydroxyapatite product
Published focus Described in its genome announcement as a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium Genome sequence report for a strain isolated from a nano-hydroxyapatite product
GenBank sequence LCZH01000000 CP135236.1

What the publications report

Hou et al. (2015) reported the MTQ3 draft genome and described the tobacco-rhizosphere isolate as a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium with antimicrobial activity. A follow-up comparative-genomics study by Guo et al. (2016) compared MTQ3 with related Delftia strains and used gene knockouts to show that three nonribosomal peptide synthetase genes are involved in siderophore production. These findings suggest a potential role in iron acquisition and microbial interactions; they do not establish that every Delftia strain has the same traits.

Wang et al. (2024) reported HA60 as a complete circular genome from a strain isolated from a commercial nano-hydroxyapatite product. The study deposited the chromosome sequence and provides a genome reference for that isolate; its origin alone does not demonstrate that HA60 makes or degrades the product.

Genome sizes, G+C percentages, assembly status, isolation contexts, and descriptions above are reported by the cited articles. Accession links point to the deposited sequences. The studies used separate sequencing and annotation methods and are not a standardized reanalysis; differences should not be interpreted as species-wide traits.
